The South Fulton CID is working with the City of Fairburn to add sidewalks to Bohannon Road. The sidewalks will run from McLarin Road to Oakley Industrial Boulevard.

Currently, workers traveling from the MARTA stop along Bohannon Road have to walk on the roadway or dirt shoulder for much of the corridor.

The design for the sidewalks is complete, and the project will begin construction in 2025.
