SR 74 at I-85 Interchange Reconstruction

The interchange is a gateway to one of the largest southeastern logistics corridors and SR 74 is a significant commuting corridor for Fayette County.

The South Fulton CID and City of Fairburn are planning a pedestrian bridge to create a safer crossing for transit riders who are trying to access their jobs along Bohannon Road and Logistics Center Drive.

Howell Ave Roadway Extension

This roadway extension provides a new access point to the businesses as well as additional routes to alleviate growing truck traffic in the area.

Sidewalks

Bohannon Road Sidewalks

The South Fulton CID worked with the City of Fairburn to add sidewalks to Bohannon Road. The sidewalks will run from McLarin Road to Oakley Industrial Boulevard.

In April 2020, MARTA began running a special service temporary bus route for Oakley Industrial Boulevard that has now been made permanent.

A 200-space park and ride on the southeast side of SR 74 under the GA Power Lines that offers carpool and vanpool parking.

Oakley Industrial Boulevard Upgrade

Oakley Industrial Boulevard was upgraded from SR 138 to Fayetteville Road.
