ABOUT THE CID

ABOUT THE CID

We believe the South Fulton district deserves to be Georgia’s #1 logistics investment priority.

The South Fulton Community Improvement District (CID) is a self-taxing district formed by the area’s property owners to advance business and community development.

THE CID STRATEGY

Logistics activity within the South Fulton area is ramping up, and state and regional investments must keep pace. For more than two decades, the commercial property owners of the South Fulton Community Improvement District (CID) have led a multi-prong strategy to direct these investments to the district.

South Fulton District

Advance major transportation improvements through public-private partnerships.

Sidewalks

Coordinate quick, responsive projects to close transportation gaps.

Goods warehouse

Connect workers to jobs through infrastructure and partnerships.

ROOTED ON THE SOUTHSIDE

POSITIONED FOR REGIONAL IMPACT

Spanning 6,600 acres, the South Fulton CID is an economic anchor for Atlanta’s south metro area. It has unparalleled access to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, downtown Atlanta, region’s major interstates, and easy access to the Port of Savannah. At the heart of the district, CSX’s Intermodal Facility was a catalyst for South Fulton’s resilient, diversified transportation network.
